Almost Like an egg roll casserole

1 bag shredded cabbage cole slaw mix w/ carrots (I added extra shredded carrots to mine)chopped onion1/2 pd extra lean ground beef (or turkey)Tony Chachere's creole seasoning (to taste)
In a large pan, spray w/ Pam. Brown your ground meat w/ the chopped onion and sprinkle w/ Tony Chachere to taste. In Louisiana, we like it spicy!
After the meat is brown, dump in the cabbage and carrot mix. Cover and smother, stirring frequently until the cabbage is soft. I guess around 10 minutes.
Enjoy!!!

Thanks for this wonderful idea! I changed it up. I used red. fat ground pork (like eggrolls), I didnt use the whole bag of slaw mix, just 4 cups. I didnt add the extra carrot, I added 2 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce,1 Tbs garlic pwdr &your delicious creole. Tasted just like the inside of the egg roll - 1/21/09
