Ingredients
2 8oz pkgs cream cheese, softened1 pkg imitation crab meat, sliced1 1/2 c. green onions, green ends sliced up1-2 pkgs wonton wrapperssoy sauce optionalsweet & sour sauce optionalcooking oil, heated for deep frying
Directions
In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sliced up imitation crab meat, and green onion slices together until well blended. Place 1 tbsp of mixture into a wonton shell, sealing edges of wrapper with water, until you have as many as you want to cook. Place a few of the rangoons into hot oil, deep frying until wrappers brown in color. Drain on paper towels. Use soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce for dipping if desired. Makes appx. 40-50, depending on the number of shells that come in the package.

The mixture keeps well in fridge covered for several days, if you want to make several batches. Just make sure you keep the unused wonton shells sealed in plastic when not in use or they will dry out and get hard.

WAY WAY WAY too many Onions for this recipe. You only need about two green onions if that. NOT 1 1/2 c. filled with sliced green onions. - 3/18/13

The calories and fat content for this is misleading because you didn't include the oil for frying. - 10/16/09
