Slow Cooked Pepper Steak

Ingredients
2 lb Beef, round steak 2 tbsp Olive Oil 0.25 cup Soy Sauce 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 1 clove Garlic 1 tsp Granulated Sugar 0.5 tsp Salt 0.25 tsp Ginger, ground 2 cup Great Value Diced Tomatoes (in Tomato juice) 2 cup, strips Green Peppers (bell peppers) 0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1 tbsp Argo Cornstarch
Directions
Cut beef into 3 - 1 inch strips. Brown in oil in skillet. Transfer to a slow cooker. Combine the next seven ingredients and pour over beef. Cover and cook on low for 5- hours or until meat is tender. Add tomatoes and green peppers, cook on low for 1 hour longer. Combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste, stir into liquid in slow cooker and cook on high until thickened. Serve over noodles or rice (not included in calorie count).
