French Onion Soup

3 large Onions, sliced thinly58-64 oz beef broth3 tbsp Butter, salted2/3 cup White Wine3 Tbsp Flour1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce1/4 tsp Pepper, black1 tsp Granulated Sugar2 tsp Thyme, fresh
Caramelize onions in butter. Add 1/3 cup of wine halfway through caramelization. Add 1/3 cup of wine to de-glaze the pan. Mix sugar, pepper, flour, and Worcestershire sauce to make a paste in a separate bowl. Some beef broth might need to be added to mix it thoroughly. Add onions, the paste, and the beef broth to a crock pot. Add thyme. Stir. Let cook for 4-5 hours on high, or 7-8 hours on low.
