French beef stew

Ingredients
1.0 can (10.5 oz), prepared Beef broth, bouillon, consomme2.0 carrot Carrots, cooked4.0 cup pieces Mushrooms, cooked1.0 large Onions, raw16.0 oz Beef chuck5.0 glass (3.5 fl oz) Red Wine8.0 serving Bacon, Wright Smoked Bacon - 2 slices
Directions
Cook bacon in dutch oven. Take bacon out and use leftover grease to brown cubed beef. Take beef out and brown sliced onion until tender. Put all meat back in dutch oven and pour in entire bottle of dry red wine and beef broth. Bring to a simmer then place Dutch oven in oven preheated to 250 degrees. Let cook two hours. Place sliced carrots and mushrooms in after an hour of cooking in oven. Serve with french bread and mashed potatoes. Serving Size: 6 servings
