2 large granny smith apples 1 pkg Pillsbury Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls .5 cup sugar1 cup Splenda for baking2 sticks I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, Light Spread (16 Tbsp)1 tsp vanilla extract.5 cup Mountain DewGround Cinnamon (to taste, calculated using 1 tbsp)
Peel and core apples. Cut apples into 8 slices each.
Cut crescent rolls in half so you have 16 pieces. Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll.
Place in a 9 x 13 greased pan. Melt butter, then add sugar and barely stir (lumpy is what you want). Add vanilla, stir, and pour over apples.
Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Serve with ice cream (not in nutritional info), and spoon some of the sweet sauces from the pan over the top.
