Tuna Steaks with Lemony Tomatos and Onion

2 T Olive Oil4 tuna steaks (6 oz each)1 pint cherry or grape tomatos, quartered1 small red onion, thinly sliced2 T fresh lemon juice, plus wedges for serving (optional)
In large skillet, heat 1 T olive oil over medium high heat. Season with salt and pepper. Cook without turning, until golden brown on one side, 3-5 minutes. Turn and cook until medium rare, 1-2 minutes more. Transfer to plate and set aside.
In medium bowl, toss together tomatoes, onion and lemon juice. Add remaining olive oil season salad with salt and pepper.
Serve tuna on top of salad with lemon wedges alongside, if desired.
