Cherry Coconut Bars

1 cup Flour, white .5 cup Margarine, soft 2 large Egg white, fresh 1 cup Granulated Sugar 3 tbsp, unsifted Powdered Sugar .25 cup Flour, white .5 tsp Baking Powder .25 tsp Salt 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 0.75 cup Nuts - Walnuts Finely Chopped .5 cup, shredded Coconut, raw 30 cherry (NLEA serving) Maraschino cherries (1/2 cup quartered)
Heat oven to 350. With hands, mix 1 cup flour, butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread thin with fingers in ungreased square pan, 8x8x2. Bake about 25 minutes.
Stir rest of ingredients into eggs. Spread over top of baked pastry (no need to cool). Bake about 25 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars.
