Ingredients
680 grams Mushrooms, fresh (20 oz. May use a variety for depth of flavor. I use a mix of Portabella and White usually) .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 8 serving Ians GF Panko 1 cup Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats 0.25 cup Egg White (Naturegg Simply Egg Whites) Per 1/4 cup (about 2 whites)
Directions
1. Process mushrooms in food processor until they are finely chopped.

2) In a large skillet, saute the mushroom bits and onion on medium-high and cook them for 10-15 minutes. You'll need to wait until the water evaporates and then keep cooking the mushrooms until they brown nicely. Transfer the mushrooms into the mixing bowl. Let them cool down.

Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir the mixture nicely and cover it with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, possibly overnight for the flavors (and texture!) to develop.

When ready to cook form the mixture into the desired shape. Grill the burgers or bake them (or any of the other shapes) in a preheated oven at 400F for 15 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes about 6 burgers, one medium meatloaf or a couple of dozen meatballs
