Basic Vegan French Toast

1 tbsp chia seeds 1/2 tbsp Agave Nectar (Wholesome Organic Blue Agave) 1 cup Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Vanilla 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract 4 slice, thin (3-3/4" x 5" x 3/8 Bread, whole wheat (including toast) prepared from recipe
1. Mix all ingredients except the bread in a shallow bowl
2. Refrigerate for 10 to 20 minutes so the batter will thicken
3. Preheat griddle or pan to 350 degrees F and grease with vegan butter or coconut oil
4. Dip each slice of bread in the batter
5. Place on griddle until underside is golden brown and flip carefully. Cook until the other side is golden brown as well
6. Top with desired toppings. I used banana slices and blueberries with maple syrup.
Serving Size: Makes 4 slices of French toast
