Ingredients
2# Ground beef, lean 2 cup White Rice, long grain, cooked 12 leaf, large Cabbage, fresh 10 cup Tomato Sauce .25 cup, packed Brown Sugar
Directions
Boil cabbage (OR you can freeze and thaw! they fall right off the head that way!)
Sauce: heat tom sauce in a large pot, slow cooker, or pressure cooker. Add brown sugar (takes out some acidity from the sauce), garlic and onion powders, pepper-all to taste.
Mix: cooked rice, raw ground beef, and 2 C of the sauce.
Roll as much of the meat mixture into a cabbage leaf as you are comfortable tucking in there! Practice makes perfect. You will make at least 12 depending on leaf size. Place them all into the sauce to simmer depending on your cooking method. If stove top at least 2 hrs, crock pot on low 8 hrs/high 4hrs, or my favorite the pressure cooker for 40!
When I go low/no carb I serve rice on the side for the family and chop the cabbage and simmer it with the sauce/meat for the family to spoon over the rice while I eat it out of a bowl :)

Serving Size: minimum of 12 cabbage rolls depending on leaf size
