2.5 tsp active dry yeast (by CYNTH873) .25 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1 tsp Diamond Crystal - Kosher Salt (by SHIRTTALES) 12 tsp Granulated Sugar 3 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 4 tbsp Butter, unsalted 2.5 cup Flour, white
Sprinkle yeast on warm water and let sit. Beat eggs, sugar, salt & softened butter. Stir into yeast. Add 2 cups flour and mix. Add remaining flour to make soft dough. Turn onto flowered surface and knead 8 to 10 min. Transfer to oiled bowl. Turn to oil all sides. Cover and rise about an hour. Punch down, cover and let rise 30 minutes. Shape into two loaves or braid. Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Wash with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake 350 for 20-25 minutes.
