Ingredients
Directions
3 cup Bush's Best Garbanzo Beans, Reduced Sodium (by SHLYCU) 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 4 serving Homemade Taco Seasoning
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
If using canned chick peas (Garbanzo beans) put into strainer, rinse and let sit for about 5 minutes.
Place chick peas in a towel and easily pat dry. Once you have done this go ahead and discard any shells not attached.
Put chick peas in a bowl and add the olive oil. Make sure to lightly stir coating all the peas. Add spices. I used my homemade taco seasoning but you can use whatever spice you choose such as cumin or chili powder.
Stir to combine spices well. Pour onto a cookie sheet in a single layer.
Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Make sure you mix them or shake them about every 10 minutes. They will be golden and crispy on the outside yet soft inside.
