Cooked Apples

Ingredients
2 lbs. Green Apples, cored and thinly sliced (peel if desired)2 Tbsp Butter, melted in pan2 Tbsp Cinnamon Sugar or Pie Spices (I use the Homemade Gourmet Spiced Dip Mix)
Directions
Melt butter in large saucepan. Add sliced apples and sprinkle with spices. cook on medium heat until apples are tender.

    I thought this was excellent, but my husband and kids are unfortunately used to the Stouffers version, with all the gooey sauce. They thought Granny Smith apples made this too sour but I disagree. I think it's delish! More for ME! - 8/17/11
