Pink beans & brown rice

Ingredients
2 cup brown rice, cooked1 can pink beans, well rinsed1 tsp Olive Oil1/4 c Onions1/4 c red pepper1 clove Garlic1/2 tsp Cumin2 tsp Chili powder1/4 tsp Pepper, black1/4 tsp Oreganodash Cinnamonsalt to taste
Directions
cook 2 cup rice according to directions

sweat onion, garlic & red pepper on low for a few minutes. Add drained beans until heated through.

mix rice & bean mixture together, add spices and mix well.

    Made this the other night because I had pink beans my husband bought, I'd never made them. This was very tasty considering the ease of the recipe and ingredients. I gave it 4 stars because of the lack of directions which I would add suggestions, but don't seem to have enough characters to do so. - 7/7/12
