1 serving Chia Seed (15 gms - 2 Tablespoons) (by BAJOHNSON2) 1 serving Flax Seed, Milled, Hodgson Mill (1 tablespoon = 1/2 serv.) (by JANNYMACK) 1 cup Milk, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Almond Milk Refrigtd (1 cup) .05 serving Uncle Toby's, Brans & Oats: Oats, Traditional 1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter, salted 1 dash Salt .5 tsp Cinnamon, ground .25 cup, unthawed Blueberries, frozen (unsweetened)
Heat 1 cup unsweetened almond milk in saucepan, add chia, flaxseeds (whole is better in this case), 1 tablespoon Uncle Toby's Ancient Grains Oats, dash of salt and 1 tsp of cinnamon. Cook on medium heat stirring often. 10-15 minutes until liquid absorbed and seeds are soft. Serve with pat of butter and blueberries. Additional almond milk can be added.
