Butterscotch Lace Cookies

Ingredients
1 c butter1 1/2 c brown sugar2 1/4 c rolled oats1/2 t salt1 T molasses3 T flour1 egg (slightly beaten)1 t vanilla
Directions
ADD SUGAR TO BUTTER, POUR OVER ROLLED OATS AND LET STAND AT ROOM TEMP OVERNIGHT.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix rest of ingredients together with oats. Drop teaspoons of dough, 2" apart onto parchment papered cookie sheets. Only put 9 - 12 on at a time. Bake 5-7 minutes. Allow to remain on baking sheet a few minutes until firm, then place on cooling rack.
