Super Simple Homemade Asparagus Soup

1 pound Asparagus, fresh ( trimmed cut in 1 inch pieces)48 oz (or 6 cups homemade) Broth (Swansons) Chicken 33% Less Sodium 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw .5 cup, diced Celery, raw juice of one whole lemon .5 cup Half and Half Cream salt and pepper to taste
Spray a large (6 or 8 qt.) pan with PAM
Saute onion and celery for about 4 minutes until translucent
Add cut asparagus pieces and saute another 5 minutes
Add the chicken broth and simmer until asparagus is soft, about 15 min.
In 2 batches, put mixture in a blender and blend until all is liquefied. Our each liquefied batch into another sauce pan. Careful! It's hot!
Add the juice of a whole lemon and salt and pepper to taste. Sitr.
Add the Half and Half and stir. Heat just until boiling. And you're done!
