Amelia's lentil chili

Ingredients
16 oz 85% Lean Organic Ground Beef (by STALEAN) 8 serving strained Tomatoes(1/2 cup) (by TURXEET) 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 2 clove Garlic 150 gram(s) Chiles - Ortega Fire Roasted Diced Green (2 TBS) (by MTNTOBEACH) 1 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne 1 tsp Cumin seed 1 tbsp Cilantro, dried 0.75 cup *lentils, great value dried 1/2 cup water
Directions
Dice onions and put in skillet. Crumble ground beef over onions. Add minced garlic. Cook on medium heat until meat is browned. Add seasonings. Add strained tomatoes (no sugar, no added salt) and can of diced green chiles. Let simmer for about 10 minutes. Add dried lentils and 1/2 cup water. Simmer about 15-20 minutes until lentils are cooked. I cool this the mixture and then package it in individual servings in bags and freeze for later use.
