Balsamic onion and steak pasta

Ingredients
2 tbsp Olive Oil 16 oz Onion, sweet, raw 2 clove Garlic 1.35 serving 6 oz sirloin steak 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar 0.25 tsp Salt 0.25 tsp Pepper, black 1.5 cup Great Value Whole Wheat Rotini 1.85 cup Beans, great northern --drained6 cup Spinach, fresh 1 oz Parmesan Cheese, hard
Directions
In extra large skillet heat 1 TB of the oil on medium-low heat. Add sliced and halfed opinions and sliced garlic cloves. Cook covered 13-15 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Uncover; cook and stir over medium-high heat 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove onions from skillet. Add remaining TB oil. Add thinly sliced bite size beef pieces and cook and stir 2-3 minutes until browned. Stir in onions, vinegar, salt and pepper. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions, adding beans in last 2 minutes. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of cooking water. Add to pan with beef and onions. Top with spinach torn in bite size pieces. Stir to wilt. Add enough of reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency. Top with shaved Parmesan and additional black pepper
