Ingredients
12 oz Hillshire Farm Beef Smoked Sausage 25 oz Great Value - Canned - Chunk Chicken Breast In Water 3.625 cup Hunt's Fire Roasted Diced Tomato 8 serving Onions, yellow, raw 1 oz. 1 cup, chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers) 1.0 cup 1/2 cup Rice -Parboiled White 2 cup Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free 3 tsp Tabasco Sauce 1 oz Celery Flakes (by MELLO925) 2 tsp McCormick Perfect Pinch Cajun Seasoning (by CRIS76) 1 tsp McCormick Perfect Pinch Italian (salt free) Seasoning (by ANNEWLOUIS) .5 tsp McCormick Garlic Powder (by CRTB06) 2 Bay Leaves (remove after cooking)
Directions
Chop vegetables, slice sausage into discs, and combine with tomatoes, herbs, spices, and broth in a crock pot (Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours). At end of main cooking time, add in the canned chicken (broth and all), allow 30 minutes more of cook time to return pot to full temp, then drop in 1 cup of parboiled white rice. Set timer for 30 minutes, when finished it is ready to serve!
