Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
1 crust, single 9" Pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, unenriched 1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter, salted 6 serving Bacon, John Morrell, Hardwood Smoked Bacon (2 slices/17g) 4 large Egg white, fresh 32 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream 1 dash Salt 1 tsp Nutmeg, ground 16 tbsp Swiss Cheese, fancy shredded cheese, giant eagle (by 4AMAZINGME)
Directions
line one 9 inch pie plate with crust. Spread softened butter on crust and refrig for half an hour. Prepare bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Preheat oven to 425. Spread crumbled bacon in crust. Beat eggs, cream, salt and nutmeg. Stir in cheese. Pour mixture on crust. Bake 15 minutes at 425. Turn oven down to 325 and bake 35 minutes. Test with knife. Quiche is done when knife comes out clean in center.
