Southwestern Chicken Vegetable Barley Soup

Ingredients
400 gram(s) Costco Roasted Chicken (by AF1944) 1.5 cup kroger frozen vegetable soup mix (by VANESSAH0529) 283 grams Tomatoes, red, ripe, canned, with green chilies 16 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 2 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots, raw .5 large Onions, raw 1 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw .5 tsp Pepper, black 2 tbsp Sam's Choice Southwest Black Bean & White Corn Salsa .1 tsp Saffron .6 cup Barley, pearled, raw
Directions
Cover roasted chicken with about 16 cups of water. When meat falls off the bone, remove from pot to let cool.

Add the vegetables & seasonings to the broth.

When chicken is cool, remove the meat & add back to the pot.

Add in barley.

Cook until done, usually about 30 mins.
