Broccoli and Bacon Soup

Ingredients
After reading about a dozen recipes I decided to wing it!907g bag of broccoli florets1/4 cup bacon fat or butter4 slices of cooked bacon, diced1/4 cup flour4 cup 2% milk1 cup chicken stock1 meduim carrot, shredded 1 cup chopped onion1 tbsp chilli flakes 1 tbsp seasoning salt.
Directions
Dice onions and place in pot, pour in fat and carrot and cook until browned. Add in flour, stir/cook for appx 2min. Add in liquid, in batches, stirring well. Add in broccoli and simmer on low for 30min, stirring often. You can blend this, but I just took a potato masher in the pot and everything broke down fairly well.

This recipe can definitely be halved, this one makes 10 one cup servings.
