Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients
1/2 c. butter1/2 c. move over butter1 c. brown sugar (packed)1/2 c. white sugar2 eggs1/2 tsp vanilla extract1 1/2 c. wheat flour3 c. Quaker Oats1 tsp baking soda1 tsp cinnamon12 oz bag of semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Turn oven to 350. Mix butters, add sugar, then vanilla, then eggs. Mix dry ingredients and add to butter mixture. Drop by rounded teaspoons full on baking sheet- bake for 10-12 minutes. Makes dozen cookies.

    I added a six ounce bag of crasins and a quarter of a bag (what I had left from another recipe) of chopped pecans and used white chocolate chips instead. Yummy! I would reduce the oats next time though. - 12/12/09

    These are great! i used about 1/2 the amount of sugar and white chocolate chips instead. Also reduced the oats by 1 cup and set the timer for exactly 10 minutes. not too sweet yet moist and delicious! going to have to hide them from myself!! kids love them too!! - 3/31/12
