Low Sodium Spicy and Sweet BBQ Sauce

1 tbsp Olive Oil 1 cup Hunt's Tomato Sauce, no salt added 2 tbsp Hunt's tomato paste, no salt added 12 tsp Dark Brown Sugar, Pure Cane Sugar 1 tbsp Low Sodium Worcestershire Sauce2 tbsp Honey 2 tsp Liquid Smoke1 cup (8 fl oz) Water2 tbsp Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tsp Garlic powder 1 tsp Onion powder 1 tsp Ground cumin1 tsp Smoked Paprika 1 tsp Chili Powder 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon,2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (Ground) 2 tsp Pepper, black 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes 4 tbsp White Onion, finely minced2 cloves Garlic, finely minced 2 Canned Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce, finely minced 1 Jalapeno pepper, with seeds removed, finely minced
Mince onion, garlic, and peppers very finely. Add to shallow bowl with Adobo Sauce from the Chipotle peppers. Mash with back of spoon into a fine paste, and set aside.
Add all liquid ingredients to saucepan over med/high heat, and bring to a slight boil. Reduce heat.
Add all dry ingredients, including minced vegetable paste made earlier.
Simmer on low to med heat for 30-45 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat and cool.
Pour into airtight container, I use a mason jar.
Serving Size: 2 Tblsp
