I'd make this again, but with less brown sugar. 1/2 cup, maybe? - 11/26/09

Very good. I did cut the brown sugar to 1/2 cup and used whole wheat flour. The berry mixture was a bit thin so I took the above advice and added cornstarch to thicken. I will make again and try other types of berries too. - 7/6/10

This was very good. I used fresh blackberries. The fruit and sauce didn't seem to thicken at all, so I added 3/4 tsp of cornstarch as I cooked and stirred the fruit mixture. It's sweet -- more like a dessert than a breakfast bar, to me. If I make it again I will use whole wheat flour for nutrition. - 5/13/09

Well, I feel the recipie was misleading because I it didn't specify splenda & type of "butter," pan size an issue had to make extra flour & oat mix. Pointless as calorie count now completely inaccurate & that's why I use pre-calculated recipies - 7/30/15

These are very good. Next time I will try using a pastry blender to blend hard butter into the crust and topping instead of using melted butter and also add walnuts to it. I also added 3/4t corn starch to the filling and used a combination of black and blueberries. Very good. - 6/12/12
