Steve's Tomatoey Italian Sausage Dinner

Ingredients
5 serving Giant Eagle Sweet Italian Sausage (3 oz. or 1 link serving size cmr) 7 serving Tomatoes Stewed Delmonte 14.5oz can ~ 3.5~ 1/2 cup servings (by HOSTALADY) 8 serving Happy Harvest Tomato Sauce (1/4 cup serving size, 8 oz. can Aldi cmr) 1 cup, chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers) 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh 6 tsp Italian Herb Seasoning - McCormick (by JCO0715)
Directions
Pre-fry the sausage in a large frying pan. Drain. Rinse and slice up the mushrooms, pepper, and onion. Add to the sausage in the pan. Sprinkle with the Italian seasoning. Add the Stewed Tomatoes with the juice. Stir well and cover with a lid. Heat on medium. When it comes to a boil, turn down to a simmer. Simmer covered for about 1/2 an hour to an hour until the juices cook down and the veggies are tender. Add the tomato sauce and heat through, stirring well. Serve hot by itself or add cooked penne, ziti, or spaghetti noodles if desired.
