1 cup white flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 2 large eggs1 cup packed brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup, chopped pecans 6-8 ounces chocolate chips
1. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl.
2. Beat eggs with fork to combine whites and yolks, and stir in brown sugar and vanilla until well combined. Stir nuts in and combine all together with flour mixture.
3. Pour dough into a greased 9x9 pan. Dough will be stiff. Pat dough down into pan until flattened and smooth.
4. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
5. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
Note: Do not overbake. When edges begin to look browned, remove from oven and let cool completely before cutting into sixteen squares.
