Chex scotcheroos

Ingredients
1 cup Granulated Sugar 1 cup Light Corn Syrup 1 cup Peanut Butter, smooth style, with salt 6 cup Gluten Free Chex Cereal - Corn 8 tbsp Chocolate chips, Hershey's milk chocolate 8 tbsp Butterscotch Chips (by PETITETOBE)
Directions
Heat sugar and corn syrup on stove top until first bubbles form. Remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter.
Stir in cereal until coated.
Pour into 9 by 13 pan and smooth out.

Melt chips in microwave. 40% power, start with 1:30, stir, return to microwave, 40% power for 15 second at a time, stirring between heatings until smooth. Works best to have two types of chips in separate bowls until they are smooth. Mix the melted chips together.

Pour melted chips over cereal mix. Smooth. Let cool.

Once cool, cut scotcheroos, 3 cuts along the long way and 8 cuts along the narrow way. Makes 36 pieces 1.4 by 2.25 inches.
