European Sausage & Cabbage

Ingredients
2 Polish Sausage links, cooked1 very small head of green cabbage or half a medium sized one, shredded1 cup sauerkraut12 ounces unsweetented applesauceHalf white onion, choppedThree cloves of garlic, choppedTwo tablespoons poppyseeds3 TBS butter
Directions
Melt butter in large skillet. Cook shredded cabbage for about five minutes, or until soft. Add onion and garlic and poppyseeds and cook with lid on for a few minutes more, until onion is transluscent. Add cooked polish sausage, sauerkraut and applesauce. Put the lid on and let heat through, stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!

    I agree, I am sure this is a mistake, one serving of Polish sausage is however 240 calories. I thought recipes had to go through approval first. ??? - 1/5/08

    I don't understand why this recipe is here... over 2000 Calories per serving? I would not even be allowed to eat one serving if it was the only thing I ate that day... - 3/7/07
