1 lb Ground Beef (extra lean)5.0 cup cabbage raw, chopped0.5 cup Rice, white, long-grain, regular, raw, enriched, rinsed2.0 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots, raw, chopped2.0 cup, chopped Onions, raw, chopped5.0 cup Beef Broth - Swanson, low sodium2.0 clove Garlic minced1 - 14.5 ox can Fire Roasted Diced Tomato1 - 14.5 oz can Tomato Sauce1 T packed Brown Sugar2 T Ketsup 1 T Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce1 leg bay leaf1.0 tsp Paprika0.5 tsp Thyme, groundSalt & Pepper to tasteParsley to garnish, optional
Brown and drain beef.
Sautee onion until clear.
Sweat garlic.
Add all remaining ingredients, bring to boil the summer 30 minutes or until carrots an rice are tender.
