1814 gram(s) Potatoes, Dice (Simply Potatoes) 2/3 c. 1 unit, cooked (yield from 1 lb Bacon, pork, microwaved 3380 gram(s) Beans, Canned Navy Beans, Bush's (1/2c = 130g, 3.5 serv per 16 oz can) 4 clove Garlic 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 6 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots, raw 6 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw 12 cup Chicken stock, home-prepared 2 cup Tomato Sauce
1. Slice bacon into 1 in chunks; cook in large stock pot. Remove bacon from pot and drain on paper towels.
2. Dice the onion and mince garlic; peel and slice carrots, slice celery. Sautee in large pot with bacon oils.
3. Add chicken broth to pot and bring to boil. Add potatoes and beans, reduce heat to medium and cook for 30 minutes (until potatoes are fork-soft).
4. Stir bacon and tomato sauce into pot. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
