Simple Lentil-chickpea stew (1.25 cup serving)

Ingredients
3.5 cup Canned tomatoes - no salt added - diced 1.75 cup Chickpeas (garbanzo beans) 1 cup Lentils 0.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 4 tsp Garlic 1.5 tsp Cumin seed 1 tbsp Curry powder 1 tbsp Turmeric, ground 1 tsp Chili powder 1 cup diced Potato, raw 1 cup (8 fl oz) Veggie Broth, Chicken Broth or Bouillon
Directions
Combine all ingredients, bring to boil, then let simmer until most liquid has been absorbed or evaporated (about 1 hour). Serve hot with a slice of naan and or chutney of your choice.
