TW’s Cranberry Orange scones

Ingredients
2 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour 0.35 cup Granulated Sugar 0.25 cup Orange juice, fresh 2 tsp Baking Powder 0.25 tsp Baking Soda 0.35 cup Butter, salted 0.25 tsp Salt 0.25 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped) Heavy Whipping Cream 0.65 cup Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins) 1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1 fl oz Milk, 1%
Directions
Mix dry ingredients plus orange zest, using only 1/4 cup of the sugar, and cut in COLD butter. Mix wet ingredients (minus milk) with the cranberries, then combine into the dry mixture. Knead a few times then lat into a 1/2-1” thick circle. Cut into eight wedges. Arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Paint with themilk and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake at 400° for 12-15 minutes and cool on a cooling rack. Serving Size: Makes 8 scones
