Directions
2-14.5 oz. cans of Kroger petite diced tomatoes1-6oz. can Kroger tomato paste3 lbs. 80/20 ground beef 1-4oz. can of Ortega hot diced green chiles2 medium onions diced2 TBSP worcestershire sauce4 TBSP Chili powder 2 TBSP Cumin seed 3 tsp Dried Oregano2 tsp sea salt1 tsp pepper2 TBSP minced garlic (I love garlic, you can use less)
1) In large pan saute onions with minced garlic until lightly brown.
2) Add ground beef and cook until browned.
3) Toss ground beef mixture into crockpot with all other ingredients and stir to combine.
4) Add water to get the liquid level you like with your chili. I usually add about 3 cups.
5) Place crockpot on low setting and cook all day stirring occasionally. The longer it cooks, the better the flavors will combine. You can put it on high for an hour or so if you need it quicker.
Serving Size: Makes about 12 servings of 1 cup each
