Whole Wheat Pasta Primavera

Ingredients
4 c whole wheat penne pasta2 c sliced or diced zucchini2 c sliced or diced onion2 c green bell pepper2 c okra1 pkg Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage8 roma tomatoes4 tbsp Olive oil2 tbsp basil.5 tsp hot pepper6 tsp Parmesan cheeseMrs Dash to taste, I use Tomato Basil Mrs. Dash
Directions
Chop all veggies (except tomatoes) and put to side. Add Olive Oil to skillet and brown sausage. Remove sausage and add seasoning Mrs Dash add veggies (except tomatoes) and cook until done. Add sausage. Chop the tomatoes and add (you want to wait until the end so the tomatoes don't cook completely down). While this is cooking boil the penne until tender. Drain the pasta and add the veggies, basil, red pepper and parmesan cheese. Mix together until the cheese is melted.

Makes 8-10 servings. I calculated the nutritional information off of 8 servings.

This meal freezes well.

You can substitute and veggies or add chicken in place of the sausage. You can also add different seasonings to your taste.
