Creamy and Healthy Chicken Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients
24 oz raw boneless, skinless chicken breast1 large onion chopped2 cloves garlic minced 2 large carrots chopped 2 stalks celery chopped2 large potatoes chopped 1 tsp thyme dried 2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms 1 tablespoon mustard 2 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp salt 2 cup skim milkpepper to taste9 cups water
Directions
Put ingredients in the crockpot except for the mustard, garlic powder and milk. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. Take chicken out and shred. Before adding chicken and remaining ingredients, take an immersion blender and give a few pulses until desired thickness. (This step is not essential.) Add shredded chicken and serve hot.
