Grandma’s Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup Butter, unsalted 1 cup Granulated Sugar 1 cup, packed Brown Sugar 2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 2 serving Fisher - Chopped Walnuts - 1/4 cup 01 tsp Morton Iodized Salt 1 tsp Baking Soda .5 tsp Cinnamon, ground .25 tsp Nutmeg, ground 1.5 cup Flour, white 3 cup Oatmeal - Quaker Oats Quick 1-minute - 1/2 cup
Directions
Cream butter, sugars, then add eggs, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and mix well. Add flour and mix u til incorporated. Add oatmeal a cup at a time until incorporated. Form into four logs and refrigerate at least 4 hours. To bake, preheat oven to 350°, cut each log into slices 1/4” thick and arrange on baking sheet (I use parchment paper). May need to reform Cookies to a rounder shape. Bake 10-11 minutes, remove from oven, and allow to cool 5 minutes before removing cookies to cooling rack.
