Flossie's French Onion Soup

Ingredients
3 tsp butter2 large Onions1/2 tsp Pepper1/4 tsp Garlic powder 2 cups beef broth 4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce 1/2 tsp Salt 2 slices bread 15 grams Marble Cheese
Directions
Saute onions, pepper and garlic powder in margarine for 7-8 minutes, or until tender. Add beef broth, Worcestershire Sauce and salt to taste. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Transfer soup to two oven-proof individual crocks, bowls, or soup mugs. Top with slice of toasted bread and cheese. Place under broiler until cheese melts and is slightly golden. Serve warm.
