Low-salt Marinara Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
1 lb. Extra-lean Ground Beef (7%)2 cans of 8 oz. Tomato Sauce (No salt added)1 can of 14.5 oz. diced Tomatoes (no salt added)1 cup water1 cup chopped Onions6 cups cooked Spaghetti noodles1 tsp Marjoram1 tsp Oregano1 tsp Thyme1 tsp Rosemary1 tsp Garlic1 Tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
1. Brown the Ground Beef and chopped Onions together.

2. Add Tomato Sauce and Diced Tomatoes.

3. Add 1 cup of water (fill the two cans of empty Tomato Sauce with water and use that)

4. Add 1 tsp each of Oregano, Marjoram, Thyme, and Rosemary.

5. Stir well and cook on medium-low for about an hour until thick, stirring occassionally.

6. Prepare Spaghetti noodles to make about 6 cups of cooked Spaghetti.

7. Drain water from noodles.

8. Add 1 Tbsp of Extra-Virgin Olive Oil and 1 tsp of Garlic to the noodles, then stir.

9. Either mix the sauce and noodles together, or serve with sauce on top of individual servings.

Makes about 6 1-cup servings.

    I made this tonight and it is delicious served on spaghetti squash. I spiced it up a bit more by adding red pepper flakes, ground black pepper and garlic. Will make this again and again. - 8/16/13
