David's Apple Crisp

Apples, fresh, 6 large (3-1/4" dia) Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed Instant, Quick Oats 1.5 cupsGranulated Sugar, .5 cup Butter, unsalted, 1 cupFlour, white, .25 cupCinnamon 1 tbspvanilla extract 1 tbsp
Preheat oven to 375
Lightly butter cake pan large enough to hold the apples whole.
Peal and cube the apples.
Add granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon and place mixture in lightly buttered cake pan.
Combine
Brown sugar, remaining butter softened, and flour.
Mix these ingredients until consistent.
Gradually combine
Oats into the Brown sugar, butter, flour mixture trying to make the mixture clumpy but well mixed.
Spoon the oat mixture on top of the apples.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until oat mixture becomes lightly browned.
Makes 20 servings (1 surving spoonful)
