Lentil Pilaf-Khichdi

Ingredients
Split Peas, 1 cup White Rice, long grain, 1.5 cup Butter, unsalted, 1 tbsp *Canola Oil, 2 tbsp *Cumin seed, 1 tsp Mustard seed, yellow, 1 tsp Ginger Root, 0.75 tsp *Hot Chili Peppers, 1 pepper Salt, 1 tsp
Directions
In a pan heat oil and when it is heated add mustard and Cumin seeds. After it stops spplatering add ginger and chili paste and add washed rice and lentil add about 5 cups water if you want flacky pilf and 7 and half cups if you want like rissoto style. Pressure cook untill two whissle or let it cook on a medium heat untill rice and lentil are cooked and yoy gat your desire consistancy add butter at the end and stir.
