Spicy Lentil Soup - crock pot

Ingredients

2 cups of cooked Lentils1 can of Rotel or stewed tomatoes (add peppers)1 cup of water1 cup of chopped carrots1/2 a chopped onion (or 2 Tbl. onion flakes)1 tsp of garlic powder (or actual clove)1 tsp of favorite soup spice (I use McNess Soup pot)1 tsp of salt (or salt to taste)
Makes approx. 5 - 1 cup servings
Make lentils prior to recipe with crock pot recipe (3x as much water to lentils on high overnight. I freeze leftover lentils for other recipes.
Add the ingredients to crock pot. Cook on high for approx. four hours. Occasionally stir to avoid brownish colored carrots (doesn't bother me). Stir and add more spice if desired.
