1 pound green beans, trimmed1 1/2 cups water1 tablespoon vegetable oil1/4 cup vegetable broth2 tablespoons soy sauce1 tablespoon sugar3 cloves garlic, minced
Heat water in wok or large saucepan. Add beans and steam until tender but crisp. Drain and set aside. In small bowl, combine broth, soy sauce, and sugar, stir to dissolve sugar. Wipe excess water from wok or saucepan, add the oil and heat. Add beans and sauce, and cook for 2 minutes.
