G's Pasta Fagioli

2 lbs extra lean ground beef1/2 large onion diced small1 cup celery diced small1 medium potato diced small1 14.5 oz can of petite diced tomatoes 1 15.25 oz can of red kidney beans, rinsed1 box of organic chicken broth (32 oz)1 tbs oregano1 tsp garlic powder1 tbs salt1 tsp ground black pepper2 cups (uncooked) ditalini pasta
Brown the ground beef. When most of it is browned add the onions, celery and potatoes. Cook for 5-8 minutes until onion and celery looks transparent. Add remaining ingredients except for pasta. Let come to a boil then add pasta. Cover and bring heat to medium low. Let simmer for another 20 minutes or until pasta is done.
