Chana's Skillet Lasagna

20 oz. 93% Lean Ground Turkey1 small onion, chopped3 cloves garlic, minced1 can diced toms - undrained1 1/4 c. water8 oz. tom. sauce - no salt added1 T. dried parsley1 tsp. dried basil leaves1 tsp. dried oregano leaves2 1/2 c. broken whole wheat lasagna noodles1 c. 1% cottage cheese (no salt added)1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese1 egg6 oz. part skim mozzarella cheese
Makes 6 servings.
Brown meat, onion & garlic. Drain. Add toms, water, sauce, herbs; stir in uncooked pasta. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover, simmer for 20 minutes or until pasta is tender. Combine cottage & parmesan cheeses. Mix in the egg. Season with more herbs. Drop by tablespoons onto pasta mixture. Cover & cook for 5 minutes more. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and serve.
