Ingredients
Beef, top sirloin or sirloin tipGarlic, 1 cloveExtra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tspOnions, 1/2 cupCelery, 1/2 cupMushrooms, fresh, 1/2 cupTurnips, 1/2 cupRutabagas, 1/2 cupGreen Beens, 1/2 cupCampbell's 25% less sodium beef broth, 2/3 cupBarley, pearled, 1 tablespoonStewed Tomatoes, Italian style, 2/3 cupBay LeafOreganoPaprikaSavory
Directions
Brown onions and celery in olive oil
Add garlic
Brown beef
Add broth, water, barley, bay leaf
Add turnip, green beans, rutabaga, mushrooms, tomatoes, oregano, savory, paprika in that order
Simmer until vegetables and barley are cooked.
To lower the salt content, no salt tomatoes can be used.
