Whole Wheat Brownies

Ingredients
3 eggs1/2 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend4 tbsp Smart Balance1/2 c skim milk2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c cocoa powder1/2 tsp. salt3/4 tsp. baking powder1/2 package semi-sweet chocolate chips (could use the whole package if you wanted)1 c. whole wheat flour (preferable pastry flour)
Directions
• In large bowl, beat eggs and brown sugar until slightly fluffy
• Melt Smart Balance in separate bowl, mix together with milk, vanilla and cocoa powder
• Fold chocolate mixture into egg/sugar mixture
• Sift flour with baking powder and salt, then add slowly to other ingredients
• Gently fold in chocolate chips

Spread in a greased 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes.

Makes 20 brownies (approximately 2.5"x2.25" in a 9x13 pan).

    no i would not make it because there are alot of empty calories in this, if i made this i would change some items.but this how we learn - 8/4/10
