1 cup uncooked long grain brown rice 1/2 cup chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped onion 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 2 cups chicken broth 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms (fresh is best)
Melt margarine in skillet. Cook onion and celery until tender. Mix this with the remaining ingredients in a 2 qt baking dish and bake in a 325 degree oven 50 minutes or until the rice is cooked through.
